YMCA, Minnie, and a House

Just in these last few weeks, we have had a lot hit us fast.

Jason and I decided we needed to be more active, so we joined the YMCA with my super awesome teacher discount. We started off really strong. It was really easy for me to go right after work because it was so close. But now it's been over a week since either of us have gone. Life is busy, so working out gets put on the back burner. I am resolved to get my butt into gear this week!

We also got a dog. Her name is Minnie, and she is a Dachshund.  It was an opportunity that just fell in our laps, and we couldn't pass it up.  She's pretty cute, but 2 nights with us in a 3rd floor apartment was not a good idea. My mom and dad so very, very, very kindly offered  (we did not just pawn her off on them) to take her until we get a home. Unfortunately, she decided to go into heat a few days later. Yeah, we owe my parents big time. They are the best for putting up with that. We will be getting her fixed soon.

And for the most exciting news: We put an offer on a house tonight!! It's a cute little starter home in East Mesa. If all goes well, and our offer is accepted, we should be able to get in there around January! We cannot wait to get out of these apartments!!!
